The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has introduced significant changes to the operational guidelines for the Indian cricket team.

One of the key changes restricts family members from staying with players during overseas tours to a maximum of two weeks, aiming to minimize distractions and enhance concentration on cricket.

Additionally, a performance-based pay structure is on the horizon, where players’ earnings will now reflect their on-field performance, promoting a culture of accountability.

This proposal has stirred discussions across the cricket community, with opinions split between those who see it as a step towards professionalism and others who view it as overly stringent.

While the idea of players traveling together on the team bus was mentioned, there’s no concrete evidence to confirm this change has been implemented.
